House Matoušek

Originally from Bohemia, more recently known as the Czechia, the Matoušek bloodline was driven north by the von Runstedt clan during the 1830s and now resides in Latvia. They also have covens in northern Belarus, Lithuania, northern Poland and Estonia. A small and young bloodline, their willingness to flee their ancestral home lost them much respect with other clans. Nonetheless, they survived, while scores of weaker bloodlines vanished – either absorbed into the von Runstedt bloodline, or later crushed by government special units – which is a testament to their tenacity.

Lord Ondřej Matoušek, once a minor Bohemian nobleman, contracted vampirism in the 17th century.

Ondřej is a pure Warrior, with extremely strong mutations for The Crimson Mist, and every member of his House has mutations in that direction also.

Ondřej Matoušek had a wife when he contracted vampirism, and he offered to give it to her as a gift – which she accepted, but Karolína Matoušek did not survive the infection process.

After her death, Lord Matoušek is rumoured to have taken Sofija Balodis, a beautiful Manipulator, as his lover.

Tomas Černý – known as “The Fixer” – is Ondřej Matoušek’s right-hand man.

Resourceful and pragmatic, Tomas produces results where others would throw their hands up in dismay.

Anita Nemekova is a Captain and a veteran of the constant warfare between House Matoušek and House von Runstedt.

Entrusted with defensive operations, she is one of the lynchpins of the survival of her House and the Matoušek bloodline.

Anton Horak is a Warrior and squad commander to whom is entrusted House Matoušek’s most important reconnoissance and counter-intelligence operations.

Calm under pressure and solutions-focused, Anton has killed more Von Runstedt soldiers than anyone in his House aside from Lord Matoušek himself.

Eliska and Adela Novakova – “The Death Twins” – are Assassins even more deadly than they are beautiful.

If you can see them, you’re either not their target, or you’re already dead.
